I absolutely LOVE this video. It combines the worlds of two different Invisibles from the book – cinematography (specifically, color and light) and piano tuning. ROY G BIV is completely arbitrary and is tied to musical scales. Who knew?
There’s a wealth of material online (and in books) about equal temperament, the standard tuning technique for Western music over the past several centuries.
